AROUND THE WEB:

— Julien Edelman and his model girlfriend Adriana Lima have split up, according to confirmed reports on Wednesday. The breakup is said to be due to scheduling conflicts.

Their relationship reportedly spanned from last summer until just before the Oscars last month. Lima, a Victoria’s Secret model, was in attendance at the Super Bowl in February to support Edelman and the Patriots.

After Edelman’s diving catch in the Super Bowl, Lima was asked if she thought Edelman caught the ball for her.

“I think I’m a better catch than that,” she said.

Since the split, Edelman has kept busy working on his new look and traveling with teammate Danny Amendola.

As this relationship comes to an end, the one between Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez is just heating up.

Reports surfaced Wednesday the two have been dating for a few months and were recently seen spending time together in Los Angeles.

Rodriguez announced on Tuesday he will be a full-time MLB analyst for Fox Sports this baseball season and Lopez liked his Instagram post announcing the move.

— ESPN’s “Mike and the Mad Dog” 30 for 30 documentary finally has a release date, it was announced Wednesday.

The film will premiere at the 11th annual Tribeca/ESPN Sports Film Festival on April 21st. ESPN has yet to release an air date for the 60-minute documentary.

“I think the big thing that I learned is that you get to know Mike [Francesa] and Chris [Russo] behind the curtain, and I think that’s what fans are wanting,” said Andy Billman of ESPN Films. “And I think especially with Francesa, he goes into some areas that he probably never goes into. Mike’s not a guy who talks a lot about his personal life, but he gets into it. I think it’s very fascinating.”

Fans were shown a sneak peak of the documentary at the annual FrancesaCon event in New York City on Saturday.

QUOTE OF THE DAY: “I’m going to miss you Mass-Holes. T’was Fun. Thank you for the good times. To infinity and beyond…” —Martellus Bennett, in a tweet Wednesday night saying goodbye to Patriots fans as he enters free agency
